BAO Value Fund

BAO Value Fund is a Collective Investment Scheme regulated by the Financial Services Commission in Mauritius, incorporated in 2011. The Fund aims to provide superior returns to its Investors through long term capital growth by investing in a diversified portfolio of equities and equity derivatives, quoted or unquoted or traded on any stock exchange or over the counter (OTC) market -focussed first on India, then SE Asia and then globally.

 

India is one of the worlds fastest growing economies and has the largest youth population in the world today and will continue to have one of the youngest populations until 2030.

 

India also has one of the largest needs for Infrastructure projects and the government is pushing infrastructure growth and moving towards urbanisation of the population from 31% in 2011 to 42% in 2030 (Source: World bank).

 

Along with the above, private consumption makes up 55% of India's GDP and increase in discretionary spending coupled with strong efforts of the government in this direction is expected have a positive impact for India’s economy. Thus, investors can benefit from the growth in GDP and the attendant impact on specific sectors of the economy by investing in equities.
